Oven-Baked Cajun Fries

Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes, cut into 1/4-in sticks
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tsp Creole Seasoning
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • flaky sea salt

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 F.
  2. Place the potatoes on a large rimmed baking sheet (or two, if needed), making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Drizzle with olive oil and season with the thyme, Creole seasoning, paprika, cayenne, and a large pinch of salt. Gently toss to coat and spread out evenly.
  3. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden. Flip and bake until deeply golden and crisp, 15 to 20 minutes more.
  4. Serve hot with additional salt as needed.
