Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 7 ounces (200 g) feta
- 2 handfuls cilantro, roughly chopped
- 1 handful dill, roughly chopped
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 long red chili pepper, medium heat, deseeded and chopped
- 4 tbsp Greek yogurt
- zest of 1 lemon
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- salt (optional)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Directions
- Place the avocado and oil in a food processor fitted with the steel blade and pulse to break up the avocado into smaller pieces, about 10 seconds.
- Add the feta, herbs, garlic, chili pepper, yogurt, and lemon zest and juice. Pulse until the mixture is combined and has a rustic, slightly chunky texture.
- If you want to thin it out, add a bit more lemon juice, about 1 teaspoon at a time. If you'd like it thicker, add some more yogurt, about 1 teaspoon at a time. Adjust to taste with salt, if desired.
- Sprinkle the sesame seeds on top and serve.
